As a US citizen, I decided to transition to living full time in my vacation home in the Dominican Republic. I received a letter from IRS questioning the accuracy of my 2008 tax return. Apparently, we've made a mistake on one of the forms and according to IRS, we owed significant sum of money interest; I've called 3 different offices for quick consultation over the phone - two of the offices told me that i had to pay IRS. Alla @AdviseNet was different. She made me fax her my returns and within a day she located an error on original return, created corrected form and instructed on exact wording for response letter to IRS. It turned out that we put the numbers in the wrong box and we did not actually owe anything! Thanks to her professionalism and expertise our family saved serious sum of money, as i was ready to mail it in.
